TOWN OF FORT FRANCES
COUNCIL MINUTES SESSION NO. 008 March 17, 2008
The meeting of Council of the Town of Fort Frances was held in the Committee Room, Civic Centre on Monday, March 17, 2008, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:02 p.m.
PRESENT: Mayor R. Avis, Chairperson; Councillors J. Albanese, A. Hallikas, G. Paul Ryan, S. Tibbs and R. Wiedenhoeft.
ALSO PRESENT: M. McCaig, Administrator, G. Treftlin, Clerk, D. Brown, Manager, Operations & Facilities.
1. This special meeting was called to consider resolutions emanating from a special meeting
of Committee of the Whole Council held earlier today. The agenda for the special meeting is attached.
2. Resolutions:
081 Wiedenhoeft-Albanese: THAT Council support, in principle, the continuance of the Baccalaureate of Nursing Program currently provided by Lakehead University and Confederation College and further that Mayor Avis advise Lakehead University and Confederation College accordingly. CARRIED
082 Albanese-Wiedenhoeft: THAT this special meeting of the Council of the Town of Fort Frances be now closed. CARRIED
