TOWN OF FORT FRANCES
COUNCIL MINUTES SESSION NO. 015 June 11, 2008
The meeting of Council of the Town of Fort Frances was held in the Council Chambers, Civic Centre on Wednesday, June 11, 2008 from 1:21 p.m. to 1:23 p.m.
PRESENT: Mayor R. Avis, Chairperson; Councillors A Hallikas, K. Perry, S. Tibbs and
R. Wiedenhoeft.
ALSO PRESENT: M. McCaig, Administrator, K. Lawson, Deputy Clerk.
1. This special meeting was called to consider resolutions emanating from a special meeting
of Committee of the Whole of Council held earlier today.
2. Resolutions:
208 Perry-Wiedenhoeft: THAT a special meeting of Council of the Town of Fort Frances be now convened and the notice provisions in sections 4. and 5. of Procedure By-Law No. 34/95 be suspended. CARRIED
209 Perry-Wiedenhoeft: THAT provisions of Section 5a) of the Procedural By-Law No. 34/95 be suspended to allow non-agenda items to be considered at this meeting. CARRIED
210 Perry-Wiedenhoeft: THAT the letter dated June 9, 2008 from W. Derksen, Town Solicitor re: Multiplicities of Litigation be received and further that the matter proceed as directed. CARRIED
211 Perry-Wiedenhoeft: THAT the request dated June 11, 2008 from Nick Mainville Jr., Assistant Gathering Coordinator re: Grand Treaty 3 and Agency 1 Request be received and further that the matter proceed as directed.
CARRIED
212 Perry-Wiedenhoeft: THAT the facsimile dated June 10, 2008 from J. Reilly, Executive Assistant to Howard Hampton, M.P.P. re: Bussing Issue info be received and further that the matter proceed as directed. CARRIED
213 Perry-Wiedenhoeft: THAT this special meeting of the Council of the Town of Fort Frances be now closed. CARRIED
