In February 2023, we received exciting news from Minister Rickford and funding the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund. This funding is a significant and much needed boost in overall fundraising for the splash pad which will be part of the Legion Park Rehabilitation Project. With the receipt of the funding from the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund, we are one step closer to making the spray park a reality in 2023. This funding expands the scope of the project to bring some and exciting amenities to the Legion Park.
 
Our goal is to have all of the funding for the spray park in place by March 31st, to ensure we can get equipment and supplies ordered and on site to start construction in the spring.
